Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-10-22

These terms govern your use of Trena (the iPhone and Apple Watch app, the web version at https://app-trena-maximo.duckdns.org and this website). Trena is provided by Maximo Andres Cobeaga, based in Argentina ("we", "us"). By creating an account you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

1. The service

Trena is a personal notebook to log training, runs, food, habits, notes, tasks and your agenda, synced across your devices. We may improve, change or discontinue features; if a change significantly affects you, we will give you reasonable notice.

2. Your account

3. Free trial and subscription

4. Locked accounts and data retention

Without an active trial or subscription, your account is locked: you can sign in to subscribe, export your data or delete your account, but not log or sync. We keep the data of a locked account for 90 days from the end of access (or from sign-up, if you never started the trial). After that, we permanently delete it.

5. Your content

What you log in Trena is yours. You allow us to store, process and display it only to provide the service (for example, to sync it or back it up). You can export and delete it at any time.

6. Not medical advice

Trena is a logging tool. Calorie and nutrient estimates (including AI estimates from photos or labels), paces, loads, weight trends and other calculations are approximate and may be wrong: review them before saving. Nothing in Trena is a diagnosis, treatment or professional medical, nutritional or fitness advice. Talk to a professional before changing your diet or training, and stop exercising if you feel pain or discomfort.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Trena for unlawful purposes, to access other people’s accounts or systems, to overload or interfere with the service, or to scrape data except through the tools we provide (such as export or personal agent tokens). We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

8. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Trena running without data loss, and the app stores everything on your device even when offline. Still, the service is provided "as is": we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Trena in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here limits your rights under the consumer protection laws of your country.

9. Ending the relationship

You can stop using Trena and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. If you have an active subscription, cancel the renewal first (on iPhone, Apple keeps billing until you cancel in Settings).

10. Changes and governing law

If we materially change these terms, we will notify you in the app or by email before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
